One of the developments that EMMA asked HvO DEXIS for was a shoe wall in the showroom. “Because of our close contact, we were involved in the design from the start. EMMA came along with their idea and we indicated how we'd like to see that in our store. A footboard has been placed next to the shoe wall too, so customers can try the shoes on various surfaces. And a ladder, for testing out the ladder and ramp grip. The whole thing has worked out beautifully; a real eye-catcher in our showroom that makes a fitting for safety shoes an experience. The shoe wall is a perfect fit for the modernisation we are going through as a business and immediately attracts customers. Although there has always been a strong preference for EMMA compared to other brands here in the south, we now see people walking straight to it as well. Even the younger generation! This is due in part to the modernisation of EMMA's shoe lines. Sporty safety shoes such as the Boston, Clay, Crossforce or Everon 2.0 and sturdy boots with a woollen lining have a huge appeal to the youth. I've even ordered three pallets of the Merula, otherwise I wouldn't be able to keep up with sales! Alongside renovating our premises, I'm also expanding our product range. I find that casual workwear just is part of the parcel these days!”
